It's obligatory on this kind of website to have some sort of blurb about who you are, and what you do.
I'm 22 years old, I'm from the Isle of Man and I'm a code-a-holic. I've graduated with a mediocre Computer Science degree at the University of Reading and have since spent a year in the real world working on commercial applications.
When I'm not coding, I'm playing games, usually big games for hours at a time. I love computer games and one day when I grow up I hope to be employed in the process of making of them.
During my time at the University, I took the time to compete in the Microsoft Imagine Cup, which is where I developed my love of .NET as something to write my bigger applications in. I prefer however to think of myself as more than a
one trick pony, so despite being tainted by the .NET fever I've carried on pursuing the first technology which hooked me which is DirectX with C++.
I like nothing better than to stay up until the late hours of the morning, neglecting everything except the code in front of me and I'm currently in the process of creating something which I believe should be rather special.
That of course is boring, and I'm also working on other things that should be special in their own little way too.
I now work for the University of Reading after deciding that the real world wasn't ready for me yet. The number of projects I'm involved with increases every day, and I'm loving every moment of it.
I also contract on a part-time basis for DriveWorks Ltd, providing coding effort when and where it's necessary.
